Data sharing is an important component to a circular economy

Elmibit CEO Matic Šerc has participated in the FINAL CONFERENCE CIRCULAR4.0 within the World Future Verse Conference 2022 to present the eVine2Wine solution.

The World Future Verse Conference 2022, hosted by Technology Park Ljubljana, took place from 29.9. to 1.10.2022 at one of the most beautiful locations in Slovenia, Bled. The WFV conference brought together top thought-leaders and pioneers from the tech industry to explore the latest trends and developments in blockchain technology, NFT, and metaverse both in Europe and globally.

During the WFV conference also, the circular economy finds its place. Namely, advanced green and digital technologies such as Blockchain, VR /AR, NFTs, and others can accelerate the transition to the circular economy, which is a must in today’s world of climate change, lack of raw materials, and society drowning in garbage. An important component that enables the transition to the circular economy is access to the right data about the product and service to recycle, reuse, repair, or remanufacture it more efficiently. While Blockchain technology represents a change in the cultural paradigm for how information is shared, that’s not the only technology that enables data sharing in a trusted and controlled way.

On the FINAL CONFERENCE CIRCULAR4.0: The future of the circular economy and digitalization in the Alpine Space, Elmibit CEO Matic Šerc presented the eVine2Wine and took part in a discussion on new technology/materials providers to boost the transition to the circular economy through digitalization. You can watch the recording of the Circular 4.0 Final Conference below.
